The "Ready Room" Newsletter
Volume 16, Issue 8

Our Mission is to increase the awareness of aviation through the flight of historic aircraft while supporting the Anna Shaw Children’s Institute.

Message From the Chairman

Things are progressing in our organization. We are growing! I want to first introduce Kelsey Savalli as our new Director of Development and Events. She will lead our fundraising, sponsorships, air show coordination, and events. Kelsey is a lifelong resident of Paulding County and has a great background in events and fundraising. I have been very impressed and am looking forward to her input into our processes. Next, I would like to announce the addition of two new board members, Christine Lewis and Fred Amicangioli. Both are no strangers to the museum. As a matter of fact it could be said they both have had a large role in getting us to where we are today. It's important to augment our leadership team with action minded individuals who believe in and love the mission of the Museum. Christine and Fred are welcome additions that fit this to a tee. As a board we will be seeking two more members from the local community to assist in furthering our goals. I am excited to work with Kelsey, Christine, and Fred as we continue to move forward.

The museum has many unique items.  Do you know what this is? When was it used?  No cheating, no AI.

Pilot Briefing Room

Here is the 'New and Improved' pilot briefing room at the Rome hangar, complete with a stocked refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave oven!  An aircraft status board has been added to address any maintenance discrepancies and aircraft status.  Lastly, all the ladies are settled inside the hangar. The aircraft and the pilots are both very important to the museum!
